Unlicensed Dental Assistant/Dental Scheduling Coordinator

Relaxation Dentistry is seeking a very professional, well-organized person to join our team who is willing to work occasionally as an UNLICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT. We are passionate in providing high-quality, patient centered, comfortable care.
You will need excellent math skills, be able to understand dental insurance EOBs, must be very detailed orientated and follow directions. You must have excellent communication skills and be confident in your dental knowledge. We require knowledge of all facets of the duties in a professional front office. We are looking for someone who loves working with people. Patient Service Coordinators are are the face and the voice of the practice!

We are looking for someone who has skills to be able to:
Your duties will be answering phones, confirming appointments, checking patients in and out, researching patient's insurance benefits, helping patients understand their insurance coverage, providing a treatment estimate for needed treatment, financial arrangements, and more!

UNLICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT. We will train.
Willing to occasionally work chairside with the dentist to fill in as needed when our other assistants are on leave, vacation, etc.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Record medical histories and vital signs of patients- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment- Follow proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
-CPR/BLS (provided)- Proficiency in Open Dental or similar dental practice management software- Ability to follow aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
